Andy Wersel

In his role as Executive Vice President of Catalina Health Resource, Andy Wersel is responsible for leading the Manufacturer and Retail sales teams in addition to sales training, sales operations and clinical operations. He brings 8-1/2 years of experience with Catalina Marketing in a variety of management and leadership positions. Immediately prior to joining Catalina Marketing, Andy gained 3 years of experience and positive results in the Beverage Industry. Andy's initial manufacturer experience was obtained through 10 successful years in the OTC Drug Industry with extensive experience across all major retail trade channels.

Wersel joined Catalina Marketing in 2000 as a Director of Business Development. During his tenure at Catalina Marketing, he has held the positions of Director of Business Development, Executive Director, Vice President and Senior Vice President. These leadership positions have included responsibilities in the US Manufacturer and Retail divisions.

Prior to joining Catalina Marketing, Wersel worked for 3 years with The Coca-Cola Company-USA Fountain Division as a Group Director responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction for a cross-functional selling team managing 3 top 20 National Account Chain Customers. Prior to working with The Coca-Cola Company, Wersel worked with Bayer Consumer Care for 4 years as a Wal-Mart Team Leader responsible for a portfolio of brands that represented 21% of the total company's revenue. Wersel also spent over 6 years in various positions with Smithkline Beecham Consumer Brands, starting his career as a Territory Sales Manager and ultimately ending his career with them as an Area Sales Manager.

Wersel has a bachelor's degree from Miami University of Ohio. He and his wife, Lisa, along with their four children, reside in Cincinnati, Ohio.
